Bret Hart
Bret Hart returned to the WWE on Monday night during Raw, one month after being kicked in the gut by Vince McMahon. The two men closed the show with their confrontation.
The Hitman responded to McMahon’s comments about him over the last month following his assault. Hart threatened to kick his ass a number of times.
He also said that McMahon was the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be… liar that is.
Meanwhile, McMahon responded by saying that Hart had lost the touch he once had and that he frankly never had any to begin with. He insulted Hart’s entire career and even the way he dressed. Throwing fuel on the fire he said once again that Bret deserved to be screwed.
However, the capper was when McMahon said that Bret’s father Stu did not deserve to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.
With that, Hart did the old hockey move and lifted Vince’s jacket over his head and began punching him until Batista came out to make the save. The Animal beat down on the WWE Hall of Famer and then held him back so Vince could get in his shots.
The crowd chanted for John Cena, but he never came.

Just like Bret used to do everytime I watched him before…he made wrestling seem real again. Great segment!! Never knew why people said Bret wasn’t great on the mic. I was always felt his promo’s came off REAL..and not like Hogan or Flair etc promo’s which were entertaining to a degree yes…but how believable were they? There’s a old saying that talk is cheap…and soon as they stepped in the ring with the Hitman no one could match his level…and it’s all on video and DVD for the world to appreciate.
Its such a shame that he’s seems to be limited in the ring …Bret vs Batista next week on Raw would have been awesome. Bret would methodically cut down the Animal like he has other giants and make him submit with the Sharpshooter …and the world of wrestling would be a BUZZ on how great Bret is the ring still..it’s truly and tragedy he can’t wrestle anymore without risk…truly the Best there is ..was and EVER will be.
Bret returning to wrestling has me interested in wrestling again on a level i haven’t been since he retired. Can’t wait to see what happens next leading up to Wrestlemania.
