Bret Hart
WWE set up a match that has been over 12 years the making on Monday night and quickly took it back. Would Vince McMahon face Bret Hart at WrestleMania? Yes and no.
After making quick work of Ted DiBiase, John Cena turned his sights to Batista, Vince McMahon and the attack they laid on him at last week’s Raw.
Cena called out “The Animal” who didn’t appear. He then called out McMahon who did appear, but with 10 security guards in toe.
McMahon denied having anything to do with Batista’s attack on him. The WWE gave 1,001 reasons as to why Batista may have acted alone, but Cena didn’t seem to buy any of them.
After going on for a bit, Cena dropped the bombshell that Bret Hart wants to wrestle again. He said that Hart wants to face Vince McMahon at WrestleMania.
McMahon said that he thinks Cena was wrong, but Cena wouldn’t back down and demanded an answer. Would he face Hart?
The answer was yes.
Cena left and Vince showed a replay of McMahon’s assault on Hart last week. After the clip was through, Hart came out and attacked McMahon.
After the chairman powdered, he told Hart that he was changing his mind and would not face him at WrestleMania because he deserved to be screwed.
That sent Hart into a frenzy and he started tearing apart the Raw set as the show drew to a close.
