Drew McIntyre successfully defended his Intercontinental Title against Kane in the second match of the WWE Elimination Chamber pay per view on Sunday.
McIntyre, who was considerably smaller than his opponent, held his own in the match and waited for his opportunity to strike.
While the referee’s view was obstructed, McIntyre hit Kane with a thumb to the eye and immediately followed that up with the Future Shock DDT to retain the title.
Tough job for those two to follow the opening match which saw John Cena win the WWE title only to be screwed out of it by Vince McMahon and Batista.
