One night after winning the Royal Rumble, Edge returned to WWE Raw to talk about his win the night before and his plans for the future.
Not surprisingly, he shifted his focus to Chris Jericho. He said he got upset watching the Slammies a few weeks back and vowed that he would not miss another WrestleMania.
He promised that he was going to prove the doctors wrong, rehab his injury as hard as he could and he did.
He also didn’t pass up the opportunity to take a shot at Jericho’s recent arrest and his mugshot appearing on TMZ.
As for his title shot at WrestleMania, Edge stated that he won’t make up his mind about what title he would go after right away. Instead, he would wait until after the Elimination Chamber pay per view to make a decision.
However, he seemed to be leaning towards challenging Sheamus for the WWE Title.
Speaking of which, the Celtic Warrior came out during Edge’s segment and tried to stir the pot with the Rated R Superstar. Threatening violence, Sheamus follwed through and attacked the returning star. Edge would recover quickly and lay out the WWE Champion with a spear.
