Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus will soon be hitting movie screens.
Stratus, who claimed the WWE Women’s Championship 7 times, has previously appeared on Canadian TV and her own travel documentary, but this will be her first big screen role.
She will be playing the lead in a Canadian independent production Bail Enforcers, directed by Patrick McBearty of Green Destiny Films and filmed in and around Toronto. Bail Enforcers follows a team of bounty hunters who strike trouble with a local mob boss.
On her website Stratus notes, “I’m thrilled to be a part of a production that is 100% Canadian and I look forward to delivering some Stratusfaction!”
Bail Enforcers is expected to release at the end of 2010.
