Undertaker
WWE Raw opened Monday night’s show with Triple H coming to the ring. He proceeded to poke fun of the Raw crew being stranded in Europe because of the Icelandic volcano debacle. He somehow equated the volcano eruption to Big Show having gas.
Things took a more serious turn when he started focusing on his match against Sheamus at next Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules pay per view. CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society interrupted him, putting over the Smackdown crew for making it back in time for the show.
Punk reminded us that the WWE Draft is next week and he, Serena and Luke Gallows could be members of the Raw brand next week.
They went back and forth with Punk trying to get Triple H to join the SES, but he wasn’t going to budge. It’s America and we’re free to do drugs here, dammit.
He also welcomed back Lilian Garcia. Eventually Punk and crew jumped the former member of DX and tried to forceably shave his head. Rey Mysterio came out to make the save.
Mr. 619 shaved off a lock of Punk’s hair as Triple H restrained the SES leader from moving.
Drew McIntyre def. Matt Hardy
WWE Smackdown star Drew McIntyre scored a victory over Matt Hardy on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.
McIntyre, who holds the WWE Intercontinental title, dominated Hardy throughout the match.
Hardy and McIntyre were just two of the Smackdown brand talents to appear on the show to fill the void while the Raw brand stars are still stranded in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
After the match John Cena cut a promo on tape from Europe apologizing for not being there in person. He also guaranteed a win at WWE Extreme Rules.
Vladmir Kozlov made his return to WWE Raw on Monday night to protest his treatment by the guest hosts as of late.
He had Jerry Lawler read a prepared statement that crapped all over the state of New Jersey.
Actually, the segment was pretty funny. Kozlov is much more effective when he has somebody else reading for him.
After he was done the cast of MacGruber appeared in character. MacGruber came out with an American flag just like Hacksaw Jim Duggan. His assistant, Vicki St. Elmo, then read a prepared statement.
She announced that CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Chris Jericho will face Triple H, Rey Mysterio and Edge in the main event.
MacGruber went on talk about Kozlov’s mother and more specifically her uterus. Nice.
Kozlov got a match against R-Truth who came out only to be inadvertently blown up by MacGruber.
The Russian Assassin will instead face the guest host later tonight.
Backstage, MacGruber was trying to flee from the arena, but was stopped by Triple H.
The pair did a little bit of comedy where the SNL character peed his his pants. He actually tried to claim that it was Kane that peed his pants.
Kane denied it then joked that he actually went No. 2 in his pants as well. Out of character for the Big Red Machine, but funny.
In a short taped promo from Europe, Randy Orton claimed that he will win against Jack Swagger at Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules pay per view.
The current World Heavyweight Champion was shown walking in the back of the IZOD Center.
Undertaker def. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger
Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger came out to the ring and issued an open challenge to anyone in the back. After some delay the challenge was answered by the Undertaker.
We reported earlier on Monday that WWE made the decision to bring him in to fill the void of the Raw roster being stranded in Europe.
Michael Cole put over the fact that it was the Dead Man’s first match since ending Shawn Michaels’ career at WrestleMania.
Undertaker took control of the match early—even going old school on the young Swagger.
However, the champion would be able to get in some offense of his own.
The pair continued to work a dandy of a match… a pay per view caliber match at that.
Undertaker hit him with a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver to get the clean win in a treat of a match.
Unfortunately for him, the match was a non-title match. I will say that I truly hope these two can work again in the future.
Backstage, Chris Jericho told CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society that if they follow his lead he promises they will win tonight on WWE Raw.
Jericho then bumps into MacGruber and his lovely assistant.
Y2J says that he’s been talking to the movie producers and they are thinking about doing a sequel with him in the title role. He then sings a mock MacGruber theme, substituting his own name in the hook. Jer-ree-cho.
He gives the Raw guest host some advice for his match against Kozlov. MacGruber is thankful, as is Vicki St. Elmo.
MacGruber and Great Khali “Kahlruber” def. Vladimir Kozlov
Well, maybe the Great Khali isn’t quite done with WWE yet after all.
The big man returned to WWE television during Monday night’s Raw as Khalruber, the half brother of Raw guest host MacGruber.
The SNL character was set to face Kozlov one on one until Ryan Phillippe came out and announced that the WWE offices made it a handicap match with Khali as his partner.
In full MacGruber gear—wig and all—Khali drew a count out on Kozlov to get the win for his team.
After the match the host got on the mic and put over his movie.
Triple H, Edge and Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho, CM Punk and Luke Gallows
As the Game was making his way to the ring, Sheamus appeared on the big screen from Ireland.
The Irish wrestler laid out a member of the camera crew as an example of what he would do to Triple H at WWE Extreme Rules.
At one point Edge was about to spear Luke Gallows, but was grabbed from behind by Chris Jericho who proceeded to try to work over his injured ankle.
The finish saw all three faces get involved and set up CM Punk to take the fall.
Edge dumped Jericho out of the ring and set Punk into the 619 position. Mysterio followed thru and Triple H finished him off with a Pedigree.
The three celebrated as the show came to a close.

Good to see Fat Hardy swatted away like the proverbial fly he is, tho I’m sick of the SES losing time after time. These guys have a great gimmick and it’s becoming a joke as they become perennial losers. I know it’s Edge & HHH, but a big win will give them some much needed credibility!
