Jim Ross
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross announced that he would be signing another short term contract extension with the company this week.
“I will be signing another contract extension this week with WWE to allow us to get past Wrestlemania and to give us more time to finalize our newest agreement which will hopefully see me remaining with WWE for the long term future,” Ross wrote in his latest blog. “At least, that’s the goal for all involved. I’m going into this negotiation with a positive frame of mind and hopeful that all will work out to everyone’s mutual happiness at the end of the day.”
Ross, who has been absent from WWE TV since suffering another attack of Bell’s palsy, has a goal of returning at WrestleMania in a few weeks.
Whether or not he is able to remains to be seen. It is also unlikely that Ross will ever return to WWE television on a weekly basis. He conceeded as much in a recent blog.
