Mickie James commented on her WWE release late Thursday afternoon via her Twitter account.
“I just want to say its been a beautiful journey,” James wrote. “WWE has been a childhood dream come true and I have loved every step… There is not a moment I would change for the world…
“It breaks my heart but the world doesn’t stop turning.. I’m grateful for all my friends, family, loved ones, and fans who have supported me along this wonderful ride. To all the guys and gals I’ve had the pleasure of sharing the ring with… We made some magic! History… Memories to last a lifetime… Thank you… I love you all with all my heart!
“Every chapter has its close… The next one Is only gonna get better… I promise you that! =) One truly never knows what tomorrow may hold… That’s why we embrace every moment… On ward & upward!”

I certainly hope WWE will consider taking her back for the way she is handling this. I really don’t think she should’ve been fired; the whole “weight” thing was bs, she hasn’t gained a pound since debuting in WWE 5 years ago, well, at least she doesn’t look like she has. Hopefully WWE will get over whatever issues they have with her then sit down with her and work this whole thing out more professionally, and maybe allow her back.
I do not want her to come back-not the way WWE is now. As a long time watcher ( and I’m talking 21 years at least) The WWE is producing in my opinion, some truly terrible shows. From the clueless, unnessasary, phoning-it-in “guest hosts” to the PG friendly kid-pandering Hornswoggle skits and backstage “comedy”, the entertainment is lacking a lot. I’m actually glad Mickie James and Shelton Benjamin are not wasting their talent and skills there anymore. I understand that the PG direction is maybe a lucrative market for the WWE right now, but as a 32yr old dude with no children on anyone under the age of 16 living under my roof, I feel left out. They don’t even produce DIVA DVDs anymore.
Please Mickie James, COME BACK TO THE WWE! We miss you SO MUCH! We love you. Please come back to us!
Please rehire Mickie, Vince! This whole thing has caused nothing but trouble for both the fans AND the WWE! The Divas Division sucks without Mickie! Please listen to us, BRING MICKIE BACK TO WWE!
