MVP Skips NXT?

WWE is gearing up for the premiere of their new ‘reality-based’ show, NXT, with announcements on the WWE website of the rookie wrestlers and their pro mentors.

However, there may have been a last minute change – MVP, originally listed as the mentor of up-and-comer Skip Sheffield, seems to have been replaced in that role by William Regal.

Whether this is a change of mind by WWE or simply an error in reporting isn’t clear, but with MVP currently tag-teaming on Raw with Mark Henry and Regal a ‘free agent’ with the demise of ECW, it may make more sense to have Regal on NXT.

WWE NXT kicks off in the old ECW timeslot, Tuesday nights on SyFy.
