Awesome Kong
It didn’t take long for recently released TNA talent Awesome Kong to find work.
The former Knockouts Champion will be debuting in Ring of Honor on April 8 according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.
The event, which will be held at the Manhattan Center in New York City, will also mark the return of the moniker “Amazing Kong.”
She will face Sara del Rey.
“I feel very happy to be joining the ROH roster!” Kong wrote on her Twitter account shortly after the news broke.
The dominant female wrestler was granted her release from TNA last weekend after months of controversy surrounding her backstage altercation with Bubba the Love Sponge.
