Rob Van Dam made his TNA Wrestling debut on their blockbuster live broadcast of Impact on SpikeTV.
The crowd began chanting “R-V-D” before his music even hit. Van Dam came through the crowd and made quick work of Sting.
A kick off the top rope and a rolling frog splash sent Sting down in defeat.
After the match Sting assaulted him with the baseball bat much like he did to Hogan and Abyss at the top of the show.
He then took out some referees and laid into RVD a few more times until a bloodied Hogan came back out. Bubba the Love Sponge made his return to TNA as he tried to hold Hogan back.
Security came out and restrained Hogan, which enabled Sting to get in a cheap shot on him as well. As they were helping Hogan to the back, Sting took out a couple of the security guys as well.
