Rob Van Dam defeated AJ Styles to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion on Impact Monday night.
RVD defeated Jeff Hardy earlier in the night for the right to face Styles for the title in the main event.
As the match drew to a close, the former WWE and ECW champion hit a Five Star Splash to get the win and the title.
By doing so he became the first man in history to hold all three major title belts from WWE, TNA and ECW.
Team Hogan, led by Jeff Hardy, came out to congratulate him after the match. Dixie Carter, Team 3D and Eric Bischoff were also in the ring.
