WWE closed out the ECW brand on a high note on Tuesday night. Here is a look at the spoilers.
The show opened with a video package of ECW’s history. They will also announce the talent for WWE NXT tonight.
In the opening contest, Big Show and The Miz def. Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu to retain the tag titles.
Chris Jericho will be part of WWE NXT. He will be paired with Wade Barrett. Meanwhile, Matt Hardy will mentor Justin Gabriel.
Tiffany gets interrupted by Zack Ryder who is upset he didn’t get a title shot on the final broadcast.
MVP will be paired with Skipp Sheffield on WWE NXT.
Abraham Washington hosts his show on ECW for the final time. He is his own guest, but gets interrupted by Shelton Benjamin, Vance Archer, Trent Baretta, Caylen Croft and Vladimir Kozlov. After a brawl only Kozlov and Benjamin are still standing.
More WWE NXT pairings… Carlito will mentor Michael Tarver while The Miz will work with former ROH Champion Daniel Bryan (aka Bryan Danielson).
Also, ECW Champion Christian and Heath Slater will be partnered on NXT.
Prior to his title match, Christian talks about being the ECW Champ and puts over Tommy Dreamer.
Meanwhile, CM Punk is announced as the mentor for Darren Young on WWE NXT.
Ezekiel Jackson defeats Christian to become the ECW Champion in an Extreme Rules Match after putting him through a table.
And in the final pairing, R-Truth will work with David Otunga on NXT.
