Sting
Sting was absent from the last TNA Wrestling pay per view and television tapings due to an unknown family emergency.
Due to his status in the locker room and reputation in the business for being a “no excuses” kind of guy, nobody really questioned him according to The Wrestling Observer.
Despite the fact that the legitimacy of the emergency was never questioned, Eric Bischoff somewhat called his loyalty to TNA into question during an interview with Hulk Hogan on Bubba the Love Sponge’s radio program recently.
Here is a transcript of Bischoff’s comments.
“Sting’s a great talent.
Love him to death. My problem is now that we’re trying to do this big picture. I understand how big picture it is for the wrestling business. Sting had life-and-death personal issues, but from a business side, it totally screws us up. If at any time that happens, I got a personal issue, now we have to switch gears on who we use, you can’t build the world around them..
Everybody has got to make a commitment. It’s easy to say we want TNA to be No. 1, but if you’re not willing to put TNA as a priority above almost every situation, then it’s probably not going to work out.”

One word for Bischoff ASSHOLE……Steve is one of the best talents in the company, i place him above Terry anyday, at least Steve can still perform his signature moves, i know hogan has had his share of surgeries and stuff, but at least sting is still getting in the ring. I was going to go to Hulkamania Tour in Australia, and also the TNA one because i love both Hogan and TNA, but Hogan’s was sooner than i thought it was, and TNA well yer……Bischoff bring Hogan and Sting to Australia, that way I can see two of the best legends of wrestling in the land down under. Im sure that they could still put on a decent match together. So could Flair and Sting but that has been overplayed. Hogan vs Sting for the TNA Legends title, why not have a title for the legends rather than have them hungry for the World Title. Hogan Sting Steiner if he still in TNA????? Nash, Rhino, 3d, Flair, Nasty Boys, I’m surprised that you guys didn’t reunite the first family. that would have been good to see. and as for Hall and Syxx Pak, will be good to see them too back in a ring, also Jeff Hardy. What i wouldn’t give to see a Jeff Hardy vs Sting. Hate to say it but really don’t care much for flair back in the ring,. I mean he is good and all but really?? when is enough, enough for naich.
