One week before WWE holds the largest pro wrestling pay per view event of the year with WrestleMania, TNA Wrestling held a pay per view event of their own… Destination X.

With the focus of the event allegedly on the X-Division, TNA chose to open the show with the Four Way Ladder Match to determine the No. 1 contender for X-Division championship.

Kaz def. Brian Kendrick, Amazing Red and Daniels in a crowd pleaser. High spot came toward the end of the match when Kaz hit a wicked suplex on Daniels and took it home shortly thereafter.

Ric Flair came out in a wheel chair that was pushed by Desmond Wolfe’s valet Chelsea. He said that he was once the greatest champion in the world, but he’s a broken down man now after the beating he suffered on Impact. He said that it was Hulk Hogan and Abyss’ fault and that he would get revenge on them tonight.

In the back, Hogan tells Abyss that the ring he gave him will lead to gold around his waist in the future. Eric Bischoff came in and was promptly ribbed about his haircut. Hogan told Bischoff that he needs to end this thing with Foley and Jeff Jarrett. Bischoff agrees and said that it would be wrapped up by the end of the week.

Tara def. Daffney to retain the TNA Knockouts Title after hitting the scream queen with the Widow’s Peak. After the match Daffney stole Tara’s tarantula.

Rob Terry def. Brutus Magnus to retain the TNA Global Championship.

Christy Hemme caught up with the Motor City Machineguns in the back. They smack talked Generation Me which led into their match to determine the No. 1 contenders for the TNA Tag Team Titles.

Motorcity Machineguns def. Generation Me to become the No. 1 contenders in an Ultimate X match.

In the back, Jeremy Borash caught up with Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. Hall smack talked Kevin Nash before asking “Big Sexy” whether he trusted his life to Eric Young.

Scott Hall and Sean Waltman def. Kevin Nash and Eric Young to earn the right to stay in TNA. Nash turned on Eric Young and powerbombed him leading to the finish. After the match they spray painted a body outline of Young and pretty much brought the Wolfpac back to life.

In the back, Jeremy Borash caught up with Kurt Angle who lit a picture of Mr. Anderson on fire, said it was real… damn real and peaced out.

Doug Williams def. Shannon Moore to retain the TNA X-Division Title. He laid out Moore with a foreign object to get the win. He cut a promo on Moore after the match and wound up putting lipstick on him.

Matt Morgan and Hernandez def. Beer Money Inc. to retain the TNA Tag Team Titles after the big Mexican hit a powerbomb to take it home. The swerve came after the match when Morgan hit the Carbon Footprint on Hernandez and left with both titles in hand.

Kurt Angle def. Mr. Anderson after applying the ankle lock. After the match Anderson accused Angle of being a cheat. Basically, this feud doesn’t appear over.

Jeremy Borash caught up with Abyss in the back. He said that when he was done with AJ Styles there wouldn’t be anything left of him tonight.

TNA Champion AJ Styles and Abyss went to a no contest. The match was thrown out after Abyss chokeslammed Styles through the ring—vintage ECW. Also in the match Ric Flair interfered causing Hulk Hogan to come out with Earl Hebner. After putting putting the champ through the ring Hogan attempted to award the belt to Abyss, but was denied by Hebner. Desmond Wolfe came out to get involved, but was also sent through the mat, as was Flair as the show came to a close.
