In a complete reversal of their feud in WCW, Sting is the heel and Hulk Hogan is the babyface in TNA.
For the first time that we can remember, Sting is a heel on a big stage.
TNA Impact kicked off their battle against WWE in grand style with Abyss and Hulk Hogan taking on Ric Flair vs. AJ Styles.
The match was interrupted by Sting as Flair and Styles were fighting dirty. “The Icon” teased being there to make the save for Abyss and Hogan, but instead took them out with a baseball bat.
A bloodied Hogan announced that the match would be restarted later in the night under no-disqualification rules.
Sting’s heel turn was solidified after a commercial break when he slammed Dixie Carter against a wall backstage and told her that he owed her nothing.

Hey thats cool and all but want to realy boost ratings have big match like have abyss turns on hogan then sting turns good then you have abyss and a few others make a group team then hogan needs help so he gets sting,kurt angle and the warrior.Then you have a story that leads into a payperview an 8-man tag match with no-DQ and plus add weapons like a hard core match.
