Dixie Carter
The one-time experiment of moving TNA Impact to an earlier start time has now become permanent.
TNA Wrestling and Spike TV made the decision to start Impact at 8 p.m. on Monday night, giving them a one-hour lead on WWE.
Their ratings this week were up by .2 over the previous week’s 9 p.m. start time.
TNA President Dixie Carter also announced that there would be a replay of Impact on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
Before moving to a three-hour broadcast, WCW found great success with Nitro by starting at 8 p.m. TNA is hoping for the same result.

so now TNA has to lose ratings to the show HOUSE every monday at 8pm?
Moving to 8pm will not help the ratings….because everyone will be watching other programs. Everyone knows that from 8 to 8:55, TNA will be garbage….and then they’ll try to throw some heat to stop people from tuning in to RAW. By 9:15, RAW will be on again. RAW will not have that classic commercial at 10pm anymore….TNA will sink in 6 months. They’d do better going against NXT.
they seem to think that they cost raw ratings they did not the basketball game did go back on thursday sack russo and build a brand or you will be out of business in a year the way you are going now tna
They need somebody to write better story lines.Wasn’t a couple of weeks ago the “Band”(dumbest group name ever)attacked Kurt Angle and just last week he gave them the wolfpac symbol when they passed each other down the ramp? Do they we’re dumb enough to forget that?
