TNA Impact TV Rating Breaks Record, WWE Superstars Also Strong

The Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff reign in TNA Wrestling is proving to be a fruitful one for television ratings.

The Jan. 28 broadcast of TNA Impact did a 1.4 rating on Spike TV, setting a new record for the time slot. An estimated 1,867,000 people tuned in to watch the show.

The 1.4 was plenty to top the WWE Superstars broadcast on WGN America at 8 p.m. That show did a 1.0 rating, which is strong for it’s own right.

An estimated 962,000 viewers tuned in to watch according to a PWInsider report.

Meanwhile, everybody is waiting on the announcement that TNA is moving Impact to Monday nights to go head to head with WWE Raw.
