A replay of TNA Impact nearly beat a new episode of WWE Superstars on Thursday in the ratings, but did manage to attract far more viewers overall.

The April 15 edition of WWE Superstars managed only a 0.75 rating with 837,000 viewers on WGN America.

Its replay did a 0.19 rating with 170,000 viewers according to a PWInsider report.

Meanwhile, the TNA Impact replay on Spike TV did a 0.72 rating with 986,000 viewers. Nearly 150,000 more viewers chose to watch TNA, which could be the first positive ratings news the Dixie Carter run company has received in some time.

TNA Epics, which aired immediately following the Impact replay, did a 0.42 rating with 533,000 viewers.
