TNA Impact Spoilers: RVD is Champ, Flair vs Abyss

This Monday’s TNA Impact was taped last Tuesday in Orlando, Florida.

Hulk Hogan opened the show by bringing out newly crowned TNA World Champion Rob Van Dam. RVD was said he was grateful to be in the company and knew he would get an opportunity once he arrived.

Former champion AJ Styles and Ric Flair came out and began insulting RVD, making marijuana references and claiming he cheated. Styles threatened to use his rematch clause while Flair turned his attention to Abyss and put him down verbally.

In a three-way dance, TNA Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne defeated Tara and Angelina Love. Tara and Love got into it after the match.

TNA X-Division Champion Kaz defeated Shannon Moore after Matt Morgan interfered. Samoa Joe came out and took out Morgan.

In a Falls Count Anywhere match, AJ Styles and Sting defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy. Sting got the pin on Jarrett.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero came out in an arm sling and eye patch. He began cutting a promo on AJ Styles, but was cut off by Mr. Anderson who challenged him to a match at TNA Sacrifice. They get into a brawl, but are broken up by security.

TNA Tag Champion Matt Morgan and Jesse Neal went to a no contest against Team 3D after The Band interfered. Morgan wound up taking out his partner and a whole brawl breaks out. After Morgan left, Hogan ordered him to go back to the ring where more ruckus ensued.

In the main event, Abyss defeated Ric Flair who got bloody during the match. Flair tried to use brass knuckles to get the win, but referee Earl Hebner saw them. After the match, Abyss took Flair’s Hall of Fame ring and said he knew who he was going to give it to next week, which closed the show.
