TNA Wrestling bought advertising time on local cable and satellite providers on Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.
As I was watching Raw an advertisement for the TNA Impact move to Monday night came on after the Diva’s bull riding segment. It should be noted that I have Verizon Fios.
The spot featured former WWE stars Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan , Jeff Hardy, Pope D’Angelo Dinero, Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Mick Foely, Eric Bischoff and Mr. Anderson among others.
The slug on the ad was “Be there when TNA takes over wrestling on Monday nights.”
WWE cannot veto the local ads that are sold and certainly USA Network would not have aired that as a national spot.
