TNA Wrestling has taking a pounding in the ratings since moving to Monday nights to compete head-to-head with WWE Raw.
This past Monday the show managed only a 0.6 rating on SpikeTV while WWE surged to a 3.7 on USA thanks to post-WrestleMania fallout and Shawn Michaels’ farewell.
Despite the extremely low rating, TNA employees are more upset with lack of quality television being produced. The show was not perceived as a good episode in the TNA offices according to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.
TNA officials were expecting WWE to outperform them in the ratings that night by a wide margin.
Many are speculating that Monday’s earlier start time (8 p.m.) is an experiment to see if the struggling Impact broadcasts can generate a larger audience with a one-hour lead on WWE.

They should have staid on Thursday nights and built a bigger audience/rating and did a lot more advertising for the Monday night move. They got big heads with Hogan and Bischoff and made the jump way to quick.
I can’t stand TNA! but to me they should just stay on Thursdays when WWE is not on TV – they are not ready to go head to head with WWE so I don’t know why they move – they are not as established as WCW was back in the day when WCW was head to head with WWE…TNA is still just a baby brand trying to come up if they want to compete stay on Thursdays build your audience and then when it’s good enough to compete on Mondays then move that’s what they should’ve done but as usual jumping ship way too quick!
In last 2 yrs TNA has chang’d a lot & day by day TNA is moving away from wat dey wer .. I.e a fresh alternate product, wid less talk & fast pace action.
