Awesome Kong
It appears that Awesome Kong was finally granted her release from TNA Wrestling.
The former TNA Knockouts Champion posted a message on Twitter Monday afternoon eluding to being released.
“I’d like to thank (Dixie Carter) and all of the employees at TNA for wishing me the very best in my future endeavors,” she wrote.
Kong reportedly asked for her release following her well publicized backstage altercation with Bubba the Love Sponge.
She had been on thin ice with the company since that point, missing their latest European tour as well.
