TNA Wrestling stripped X-Division Champion Doug Williams of his title on Sunday.
The decision was made after Williams was stranded in Europe and unable to get to Sunday’s Lockdown pay per view due to the flight restrictions in the UK following the Iceland volcano eruption.
The winner of Alex Shelly vs. Chris Sabin vs. Homicide vs Brian Kendrick four-way match will advance to face Kaz and Shannon Moore in a Triple Threat match to determine the new champion.
As we reported earlier, WWE Raw brand talents are also stranded in Europe putting Monday’s show in jeopardy.
