Wendi Richter
WWE announced that Wendi Richter will be headed into the Hall of Fame next month during WrestleMania weekend.
She is perhaps best known for working with Cyndi Lauper and capturing the World Women’s Championship from the Fabulous Moolah on MTV. The match achieved the highest ratings on the young network to that point.
She is a five time Women’s Champion.
Fellow WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper will induct her.
She becomes the third person to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2010. Already in the class are Anotonio Inoki and Ted DiBiase.
