During an interview with Sportsradio620.com, the Honky Tonk Man told host Bill Ali that he received a phone call from WWE asking him whether he wanted to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year during WrestleMania 26 weekend. HTM told Ali that he rejected the plans due to “prior engagements”.
As we reported here on the site yesterday, Honky Tonk Man has reportedly been in talks with TNA for the past month and that he was “close” to signing a deal with the company. No word yet on if this factored into his decision.
