WWE Hall of Famer and former NWA World Champion Jack Brisco passed away Monday morning at the age of 68.
Perhaps best known for his feud with Dory Funk Jr., he was also a multi-time tag team champion with his brother Gerald Brisco, who still works with WWE.
Jack retired from in ring action in the early 1980’s and opened the famed Brisco Brothers’ Body Shop in Florida.
He and his brother were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008 in Orlando, Florida.
Brisco had been suffering from a number of medical ailments in the time leading up to his passing, although it is unclear at this point exactly what the cause of death was.
He underwent triple bypass surgery on his heart several weeks ago according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider and had been in a rehabilitation center.
Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and fans.

I grew up watching Jack Brisco wrestle in Florida and his in-ring skills were second to none. Later in life, I was fortunate enough to meet Mr Brisco in person and was delighted to find that he was a genuinely nice and gracious man. Thanks for all the entertaining moments, Jack!
I echo LarryB’s sentiments. I was fortunate enough to be there when he and Jerry were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He was a talented performer and the boys today could learn a thing or two by watching his old tapes. He will be missed.
