Rey Mysterio
The dark match at Monday’s WWE Raw was between Rey Mysterio and CM Punk.
With the show emanating from San Diego, using Mysterio in the house main event was a virtual certainty.
It was set up while Raw was in a commercial break prior to the Vince McMahon and Bret Hart contract signing segment that closed the show.
The match itself lasted about 10 minutes according to live reports. Punk dominated offensively, but hometown Mysterio got the win with a 619 to send the crowd home happy.
He also shook some hands at ringside before calling it a night.
