Santino Marella got in his weekly comedy during a segment backstage with the Hot Tub Time Machine guys. He held a radio above his head and made a John Cusack reference.
Meanwhile, the hot tub match with the Divas turned out to be anything but. The guys announced that the Diva who stayed in the hot tub with them the longest would get a shot at the WWE Divas Title.
Triple H came out next and said that the night was surreal. He said that it was an end of an era and that he never thought it would end this way for Shawn Michaels. He tells a story about coming into the WWE for the first time and seeing HBK in goofy overalls and a poor mullett. “But,” he said, “We took on the world.”
He made a vailed reference to “the clique” holding up the Wolfpac sign and said that then it was just him and Shawn after they left.
He got a little choked up and said that there was something he wanted to tell Shawn, but never did. As he was about to get it out Sheamus nailed him with a metal pipe from behind.
Crazy heat for the Celtic Warrior.
