One night removed from the Elimination Chamber pay per view, WWE pulled out all the stops on the road to WrestleMania on Raw.

The show opened with the bombshell announcement that Edge will face Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Title at their biggest pay per view of the year in March.

John Cena demanded a rematch against Batista who, along with Vince McMahon, screwed him out of the WWE Title on Sunday’s pay per view.

McMahon granted the rematch, but only at WrestleMania and only if he could beat Batista on Raw. If he is unsuccessful, Sheamus will get the title shot.

Maryse defeated Gail Kim to become the new WWE Diva’s Champion in a rather tough match for the ladies of WWE.

Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and Yoshi Tatsu defeated Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes. It is announced that ECW free agent Tatsu signed to the Raw brand.

Meanwhile, Legacy continued to break apart as Orton laid out both Rhodes and DiBiase.

The Undertaker came out and accepted Shawn Michaels’ challenge for a rematch at WrestleMania. However, HBK will have to put his career on the line.

Christian, who also is joining the Raw brand after the ECW brand was laid to rest, defeated Carlito to become the first man to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania.

Raw guest hosts Jewel and Ty Murray hosted a Diva’s bull riding competition. The party was crashed by the Miz and Big Show. Show tried to ride the bull, but got bucked off.

Wendi Richter was announced as the next member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2010.

Vince McMahon invited Bret Hart to come on Raw next week for a proper farewell to the WWE audience. We learn that Bret accepted from his home in Canada.

We also learn that Randy Orton will face Ted DiBiase in a singles match on Raw next week, which will be hosted by Cheech and Chong.

In the main event, John Cena defeated Batista by disqualification to earn the right to face him at WrestleMania. Batista kicked him low to draw the DQ and continued the assault as the show drew to a close.
