Charlie Haas
Veteran wrestler Charlie Haas was released by World Wrestling Entertainment on Sunday.
He is perhaps best known for his time with Shelton Benjamin as part of The World’s Greatest Tag Team and his spoofing of WWE legends in 2009.
He is married to former WWE Diva Jackie Gayda.
WWE posted the following statement on their website announcing his release.
WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Charlie Haas as of today, February 28, 2010. We wish Charlie Haas the best in all future endeavors.
WWE released Maria, Paul Burchill, Shane Helms and referee Scott Armstrong on Friday.
