WWE Royal Rumble: 25 Men Confirmed, Five Spots Open

Following Friday’s WWE Smackdown broadcast, the lineup is set for this year’s Royal Rumble… barring a few surprise entrants into the main attraction. 25 entrants are confirmed for the Rumble match, the latest being R-Truth.

WWE removed Hurricane Helms on Friday after reports of his Kentucky arrest surfaced.

Also removed from the match on Friday was Santino Marella, but it’s unclear as to why he was taken out. There are unconfirmed reports that he suffered an injury at a recent house show.

The pay-per-view features four title matches on the undercard.

The World Title Match will feature current champion the Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio.

In a WWE Championship match has champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton.

ECW Champion Christian will defend his title against Ezekiel Jackson.

And in a much hyped Women’s Championship match, Michelle McCool takes on Mickie James.

Here is a list of the current wrestlers included in the Royal Rumble match.

From the Raw brand: John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, MVP, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Big Show, Evan Bourne, Carlito and Chris Masters.

From the Smackdown brand: Batista, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, The Great Khali, Kane, Matt Hardy and R-Truth.

From the ECW brand: Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal and Zack Ryder.

There have been rumblings for weeks that Edge will make his return at the pay per view, taking up one of the five remaining spots.
