WWE Royal Rumble Competitors: 25 Confirmed and Three Rumored

WWE continues to list only 25 names online for the Royal Rumble match, leaving five spots open.

There has been speculation that Edge will make his long awaited return to WWE at Sunday’s pay per view, but we have not heard anything concrete at this point.

However, should WWE have a major name returning, they would likely tuck him away backstage and out of site from other employees and many of the talents.

Drew McIntyre and John Morrison will likely be in the match even though they aren’t officially listed by WWE. McIntyre has cut promos stating that he will be in the match whil Morrison stated that he was in on a radio interview this past week.

Here is a list of confirmed competitors by brand.

From the Raw brand: John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, MVP, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, Big Show, Evan Bourne, Carlito and Chris Masters.

From the Smackdown brand: Batista, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, The Great Khali, Kane, Matt Hardy and R-Truth.

From the ECW brand: Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu, William Regal and Zack Ryder.

Also on the card tonight are four title matches.

The World Title Match will feature current champion the Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio.

In a WWE Championship match has champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton.

ECW Champion Christian will defend his title against Ezekiel Jackson.

And in a much hyped Women’s Championship match, Michelle McCool takes on Mickie James.
