WWE taped the final Smackdown broadcast before Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay per view earlier this week.
The show opened with Chris Jericho doing a promo about winning the Elimination Chamber. He is cut off by Edge who speared him after some back and forth on the mic.
In the opening contest Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler.
Cryme Tyme defeated ECW refugees Caylen Croft and Trent Berreta.
CM Punk and Luke Gallows bested John Morrison and R Truth. Morrison sold his injured ankle. Rey Mysterio also go involved in the match, but was laid out by the Straight Edge Society.
An angle is shot backstage that setup a match between Mickie James and Michelle McCool for the WWE Women’s Title with Vickie Guerrero as the guest ref next week.
The Hart Dynasty and Natalya defeated Great Khali, Matt Hardy and Maria. Maria blamed Matt for the loss, but he tried to get a little frisky with the former Playboy cover girl.
The main event between Edge and Batista ended in a no contest after the Undertaker appeared and took out Edge. Batista bailed as Jericho ran out to also assault the Rated R Superstar.
