WWE will be taking Maria off of television and Friday Night Smackdown for a little while.
The former Playboy cover girl and current WWE Diva may have a clause in her contract with NBC for Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice where she cannot appear on any other TV show during that time.
However, that is purely speculation and unconfirmed according to The Wrestling Observer newsletter.
On a related note, Josh D. passed along a note that Maria is featured on the Playboy Channel quite frequently. Apparently they use her magazine cover during one of their promo packages on the premium channel.
