WWE TV Ratings Up as TNA Scores Lowest Rating Since 2008

WWE Raw dominated TNA Impact in the ratings for a second consecutive week. In fact, Vince McMahon’s company significantly widened the ratings gap.

Monday’s Raw broadcast on USA did a 3.7 rating while averaging 5.6 million viewers.

The previous week’s broadcast, which went head-to-head with the TNA Impact Monday premiere, did a 3.4 rating.

While WWE was moving in the right direction with ratings, TNA proved that they might be the “not ready for primetime players.”

The Dixie Carter led promotion managed only a 0.8 rating—the lowest rating since a Knockouts special edition last New Years Eve.

“Although its classic David v Goliath, one stone will not bring down our giant, its a different day,” Carter wrote optamistically on Twitter. “It’ll take time and commitment, we have both”

While you certainly cannot directly compare the ratings, it should be noted that the last time a regular edition of Impact came anywhere close to that rating was August 14, 2008 when the show did a 0.87.
